1. Provider verification
Before a listing can carry the Tumble Verified badge, the provider must claim it, prove they run the business, and confirm business identity details, the address where children are taught, licences applicable to their activity, and that all staff working with children have been background screened by the provider. Unclaimed listings built from public Google Maps data are clearly labelled as unverified.
2. What we expect from providers
No adult may be alone and unobserved with a child where this can be avoided. Staff must be trained for the age group they teach, keep first-aid supplies and an emergency plan on site, maintain safe equipment and safe adult-to-child ratios, and obtain written parent consent before photographing or filming a child or using their image in promotion.
3. Zero tolerance
Any credible report of abuse, physical punishment, sexual misconduct, neglect, intoxication on duty or grooming leads to immediate removal of the listing from Tumble, notification to the parents affected, and reporting to the police or child welfare authorities as required by Indian law, including the POCSO Act and the Juvenile Justice Act.
4. Reporting a concern
Report anything that worries you to info@tumblegym.in or +91 96060 23971, or use “Report incorrect info” on any listing. We acknowledge safety reports within 24 hours and can unpublish a listing while we investigate. If a child is in immediate danger, call 112, or Childline India on 1098, first.
5. Safety on the platform
Children do not have Tumble accounts. Child details are entered only by a parent, are visible only to you and to a provider you book with, and are never sold or used for advertising to children. Reviews are tied to real completed bookings, and messages between parents and providers stay within the platform so we can investigate misuse.
6. For parents
Visit the centre before a first class, ask about staff screening, ratios and emergency procedures, tell the provider about allergies and medical needs in writing, and share your concerns with us — every report helps keep other families safe.
